Comment:

Professor Thompson is one of those professor that when she starts lecturing she just starts babbling on and on. She gets off on a tangent and forgets to make her point, plus she is a tough grader. What she lectures about is aver on the tests. She is also a huge feminist, just so you know.

She doesn't teach so much as she just tells a story. Often times she begins making a point but then goes off on a tangent and forgets to circle back around. She tries to include student participation but will put you down for any incorrect answers. Tests are super hard essay questions that she probably hasn't covered in class. DO NOT TAKE

She is the most boring professor I have. When she lectures, she doesn't write notes. She just reads off her paper and she drags on conversations. She always gets off topic. She mispronounces words all the time. Her exams are essay questions and vocabulary. There are a lot of papers you have to write. Attendance is mandatory.

Comment:

Dr. Thompson needs to learn to not force her feminist ideology onto her students. It seems like every lecture I find her going off on a tangent about how a woman had a bigger impact than any man did. Tests are tough if you don't read and the group project at the end of the year is easy. All in all, if you're a feminist like her, take her.

As a freshman, I loved this class and I am not a history major. Yes lots of reading and we had three papers and a group project but what do you expect? It's a history class. Easy class if you study and take notes but reading the chapters recommended is very helpful too if you're not good at taking notes! She is everything you want in a professor!

Worst teacher I have ever taken. There's two tests and a final. Study guides have six essays and 75 historical terms but only two essays and five terms are on the test. Her lectures are boring and she is quick to get off topic, also a very tough grader.

Literally could write a novel about how she is the worst teacher ever. Every class you miss is FIVE points off your grade. She teaches you bring in the lectures that is on the test. She's so specific about little details and the importance of them. Tests are unbearable to prepare for. You better study for at least 3 hours a day for a week for tests

This class was pointless. Her lectures were not informative AT ALL. In order to write the paper and pass the essay tests for her class I had to spend many hours teaching myself the material because she did such a poor job.

Dr. T. Is one of those few professors out there willing to go the extra mile for her students! Her class was easy but you had to do the readings and the work. Not for students who do not like reading, but if you do your work and attend class, ask questions you will do well. she is super smart and one of the best professors I've had in a long time.

I feel like I didnt learn anything even though I got an A. Notes were impossible to take, she was all over the place. Tests were difficult and I had to teach myself everything. Thank God for Google. Incredibly boring class. Very intelligent and passionate.

Very nice and she is extremely passionate about her area of study. The exams are not too hard, and she is an easy grader overall. She can be highly disorganized, though. The research project is very intense and she tends to give out a lot of incompletes. She is also not very clear when it comes to wat she is looking for when it comes to the papers.

Professor Thompson is awesome!. She definatelly knows her material. Anyeone interested in History should take her. She assigns a lot of readings but she most lectures on them. She always helps her students and want us to do excellent. I recommend her.

Dr. Angela Thompson is extremely intelliget. She is one of the few teachers who actually cares and helps her students learn. Her class is easy if you care about it, if you listen, if you read &if you show up to class.Take notes,those are VERY important, ask question and she'll answer them and help you.She is extremely knowledgeable

She is a horrible teacher. She treats us like we are history majors who care about this class when most of us just want to pass and move on. She boring and jumps around between topics making it nearly impossible to take coherent notes. Don't take her.
