Weck is super passionate about teaching in general. She has a lot of stories, which sometimes correlates with the topic but mostly doesn't. She only includes questions from the readings on the exams, so make sure you read. Super tough grader. Expect to get half points on any rough draft, even if you met all of the requirements.

Comment:

Prof. Weck was amazing. I took her for IS 100, and it was the easiest class I have ever taken. She does lecture everyday, but she is always enthusiastic and makes it worthwhile. Her exams were the easiest. It composed of questions off right off of the take home quizzes, matching vocabulary, and questions relating to the few readings. That's it.

Overall, a really good class. She made the grading criteria clear. You do have to show up though. Her lectures are pretty important. Not too much homework, and offers a decent amount of extra credit.

Professor Weck is so helpful and makes sure we all understand what we are doing! I actually took her class at Illinois Central College, she was nice and class wasn't horribly hard, the class itself was easy, such as quizzes and what not, but the test are hard at times.

Great class. She teaches at ICC, and she takes a very captivating approach to her class, as well as making political science an enjoyable subject, which is difficult. I really enjoyed the class, and the humor she brought. Would definitely take again.

Fascinating teacher! Always has a fun anecdote to add to the discussions. Very enthusiastic about Russia. Always willing to talk to a student about anything after class. I wish I could take more classes with her.

I didn't study much for the first exam, but I payed attention in class. Needless to say I failed that test. Decided to study hard for second test and pay attention harder and take more notes. Failed that and the class. You get the idea. Basically the tests are the hardest I've had at Bradley. No application, just annoying history memorization.

Big pain in the ass. tests are 50-60 extremely hard multiple choice questions but everyone cant fail so she gives lots of extra credit. If you are interested in russian history you might like it because she goes way in depth. but i am not. therefore: big pain in the ass

angela is great! a little scatterbrained at times (but two small kids'll do that to you!) but extremely knowledgeable! three years later i still remember much of what was covered in the class (very rare that this happens in college!)

Lots of fun. Always making students laugh. Knows Russian His well and makes it fun to learn. Very easy on grading tests and papers! VERY EASY! Take her and you won't regret it!
