Waste of my time and money for school. Reads straight from the text book. And talks non stop all class. Haven't learned a thing because its read word for word by text book. Would NOT tell anyone to take her class or waste there money.

She is a nice lady- like I would probably like her as my grandma or aunt or something, but she should have retired a long time ago. Her teaching methods are not effective- you need an immersive classroom to learn a language. She will say something in spanish and before my brain can translate it she says it in english. So ineffective.

She is a nice teacher and does her job but does not do it well. You will have to pay attention carefully in her lectures because she speaks and goes by the material faster than she should. So unless you can handle that and deal with the online help (that doesn't really help) I don't recommend taking her for a language class.

Pretty funny spanish teacher. Not because she tries, but she just is! I enjoyed her class a lot and so did the other students. Online work is a pain, but it's required for all spanish courses. She gives plenty of time to finish them. First test is multiple choice, but that's it. Be prepared to study those terms at the end of each chapter.

Comment:

Professor Tedesco is a very nice lady. However, I would NOT recommend her classes. She seems to get agitated very easily. She's more interested in staying on schedule opposed to you actually learning the language. It's like she expects you to speak like a native. No matter how many times I asked her to slow down, she just continued at her speed.

Her class is very boring, very very boring, she expects you to know the language like a native speaker and she will randomly call on you to answer questions several times. Attendance is mandatory, she gives out assignments that she grades in each class. Let me just say i couldn't wait for the semester to end from day one

She is the best teacher!!! Very interesting class and very helpful. Her class is funny and also she shows movies depending on what language you are studying. If you want to learn italian and also get a good grade, you must take her class!!!

Tedesco is a real gem! She's funny, engaging, and a fantastic teacher. She utilizes the online version of the book in the classroom, too. She works with you on pronunciation, and her 4 tests & Final are pretty easy because her lessons are incredibly educational. I highly recommend taking her! Just don't be absent much. I'm taking her again for 102!

Great teacher!!! Took her for Italian 101, and will be taking her again. Extremley willing to help students out and will explain things until you understand. Just make sure you ask questions when you need to. I'm terrible with other langues and she made it fun.

I TOOK HER CLASS FOR ITA 101 AND 102 FOR THE SUMMER SESSION AND I WOULD RECOMMEND DOING THAT BECAUSE IT WAS VERY EASY. SHE DIDNT PUT ALOT OF PRESSURE ON US BECAUSE ITS A LOT TO LEARN IN A SHORT PERIOD. SHE IS VERY NICE AND HELPFUL.

Nice as a person, but didn t learn anything. I speak italian well but not that i learned it from her class... Still with A+ tests all semester and 100% participation, i ended up with a B+... I wonder how she graded those who didn t speak a word of italian...maybe the got a B....
