She is a very thorough teacher. There is always homework but it isn't too tough and is always covered in class. You must write out EVERY SINGLE step in your math problems or they will be counted as wrong.

If you go to class and pay attention very easy class. All quizzes were open note and she gives every note possible to pass this class. Very clear and precise teaching methods. Was a pleasure to have her as a professor. Warning do not ever present yourself as a class rep. If u have a question make it your question. Very strict, but wants u to learn!

She writes absolutely everything on the board, so note-taking is easy. She assigns practice problems in the book, these are not turned in, they are just for your understanding, and this is the only use of the book. She will give you a quiz almost daily with 1-5 questions which test your understanding. I found her very easy to understand. Ask ??s

I liked her. She was extremely strict on homework and made all assignments due the following day. Which was good because that made me actually DO the assignments. She also wrote very detailed notes on the bored and was very helpful... outside of class. DO NOT interupt class for questions- EVER. I learned so much in her class. I highly recommend her

i'm AWFUL at math, but i was able to get an A in this class...her teaching style just "clicked" with me and i understood EVERYTHING she taught the FIRST TIME! hasn't happened for me since first grade...i never missed a single class and made a C on the first test and high A's on the rest...WONDERFUL TEACHER FOR NON-MATH MAJORS that are actually WILLING TO get off their butt and GO TO CLASS

Hard. She spends all her time talking about how to use a stupid calculator. Not helpful at all during her office hours. Tries to made students feel dumb and worthless. Gives too much homework.

Dr. Walker is an extremely nice lady. She expects her students to do a lot of homework. She doesn't teach by the textbook, and it sometimes seems as if she is just making up different ways to do math that don't exist. You MUST do your homework. She is nice, but take an easier professor.
