He seems like a good professor, but Myers is awful at explaining everything. I spend most of lecture time lost because he gets sidetracked on concepts that we don't need to know. He gives no practice problems and spends hours on complicated stuff that's not on the test. He's also unorganized. He never takes up assigned work so it hurts my grade.

Awful, awful teacher. He does know alot about what he is teaching, and if you arent on his level of intelligence don't take him. You have to teach yourself everything. He is very intelligent on the subject of Chemistry. I suggest taking Chem 1 and 2 with him because if you do not and only take Chem 2 he will make you feel like an idiot for not remembering what he teaches in Chem 1. His tests are hard, but he offers study sessions usually. The homework problems he assigns are not all explained in class. STUDY!

Dr. Myers is absolutely amazing! He isn't really hot, but he is the sweetest man ever! I want him to be my grandpa or something haha. The class was wonderful and I loved every second of it! He made me love a subject I previously hated!

He's a really awesome professor, and he definitely knows what he's talking about. I've never seen him get angry about anything in class, especially answering questions. He's very open and easy to reach. After taking his Chemistry I class I'm now a Chemistry major so he's definitely affected my university career.

Dr. Myers is the best professor I've had at ECU. If you are of any intelligence, the material is very accessible through his lectures. The man is quite frankly a genius, and I have the utmost respect for him.

this professor is awesome, was totally nervous about chemistry, took chem 1 & 2 from him and loved it, i even made an A in chem 2! kinda boring lecture, especially during summer, but doesn't care if you chat to your neighbor or whip out your phone.

He wasn't as bad as everyone made him to be. Lab was EEEAASY!! Lecture wasnt' that bad. Had a big curve, and helped you understand with study sessions. He is WAY smart at chem, and I enjoyed the class more than I expected to!

Dr. Myers knows his stuff, and I enjoy learning from someone who I respect. Many students have trouble in his class, he is a little boring but like I said, he knows chemistry very well which seems to help. He always helped me when I had trouble.

Nice guy. Liked him in lab, not in class. If you have had no chemistry before, take someone else, anyone else!! Would prob. be good 4 some1 who is good at Chem. and is going to make a career of it. For others, he will make U want to quit school!!!
