While this online class is pretty self paced if there are ever any issues she is quick to communicate and help you out. This is one of my best professors this semester and I would definitely take her class again. She is very organized and the structure so far has been two assignments on simnet every week and one quiz that is usually short.

Do not take this course with this teacher online!! I have prior experience with office and struggled with the Sam 2010 program. It was difficult to use and was unclear to how they were grading work. She was not helpful and could not offer help with the program. You musy rely entirely on the textbook with no help from her. Had to drop it.

Horrible professor. Taught classes through Sam2010. No actual teaching. Not helpful with problems and seemed to be irritated with those of us that had problems. Many students had issues with grading done by computer program in SAM2010 but she was unaffected by our concerns. Did not help me learn ACCESS at all!!

Ann Askut is one of the best instructors I've had at CPCC with: real world experience, clear instruction, fair grading, quick response to emails, a well-organized Blackboard, and a good sense of humor. I highly recommend taking this class in person if you can (rather than online).

She is not a student-friendly instructor and acts as though everyone should know what she's explaining, despite her accent. Seems to be agitated at times with student questions and just is not friendly. Avoid her classes if you can.

Very difficult to deal with and is not helpful towards students. Forget about sending email to this lady, she doesn't answer . . . may not know the meaning of 'Reply' button in email program. In the end, students learn database on their own!
