I have been awful at math my whole school career, but Mr. Wissman taught the stats class clearly and thoroughly, taking time to explain any questions with patience. He isn't a pushover but will work with students even after class if necessary. very approachable. I would recommend him. I've never been so successfull in a math course!

terrible, does not know how to teach. He responds to questions but does not give enough homework or examples to make the work more understandable. I would not recommend taking him, if you are not good at math, if you are able to teach yourself, that is what you are going to end up doing.

Good guy, good teacher. I have not been a good math student since I was in the 9th grade, and I did well in his class. He explains things well and does a great job of engaging his students.

Overall, the class is not hard. Homework is only taken up twice a semester and only other grades are tests. He does a good job with explaining problems and working out examples, sometimes he could be more clear and precise. He teaches through example problems rather than through definitions and what is exactly said in the text.

Not very helpful in explanations. He often works the problem out wrong himself. He is very lazy. I am often very lost in his class because he goes too fast with the course material. Mr. Wissmann has a monotoned voice and you will find yourself dozing.

Very laid-back personality, very helpful in explaining outside of class, and very available for out-of-class help. Teaches way too fast in class, for those not as good at math. Nice to be able to have a 3x5 card with notes on it during tests!
