Comment:

Unbearably dull lectures, and does not post any study notes or slides online, making it even harder to get anything out of the class. She talks so quietly making it hard to understand the material that will only be shown once. I believe she is very intelligent and qualified in psychology, but I think reading the book would be just as good as class.

Dr. Bigelow is very sweet and knowledgable about developmental psych. She is extremely hard to hear and the course can be confusing because she does not post any material online. That said, if you work hard and read the textbook, a great grade is possible!

She's super quiet during class, but very clear on what she expects from students. She's a reasonable marker and her exam questions come as no surprise. I really enjoyed her class! She uses a lot of relevant examples to demonstrate developmental concepts.

Dr Bigelow is one of my favorite profs so far. Attendance is not necessary but if you want a good grade you need to take notes from her lectures, which she makes easy to do. exams are fair and easy, and lots of opportunities to do well. you can tell she really loves dev psych and picks interesting materials and studies to study. Would 100% recomend

Dr bigelow is a very nice person and a fair marker. Her lectures are very interesting and the material is not dull at all. She's organized and her exams are based primarily on class notes so take good notes from her lectures. You can tell she really loves what she's talking about and is very clear on what she tests you on. One of my fav classes :)

Dr. Bigelow is extremely knowledgeable in developmental psych and her classes are usually interesting. You are marked based on a wide variety of things (labs, online quizes, midterms, papers, projects, exams). The class requires a lot of work but you can get a good mark if you put some effort in. Good prof and course!

Dr. Bigelow is one of the best professors at St. FX. She is a world-renowned researcher and extremely dedicated to her students. She may not give out high marks willy-nilly, but if you show interest and work hard you will be rewarded. She is very fair and has lots of interesting personal stories to share. LOVE HER!!

i thot bigelow was AWESOME i really liked her... and it is definitly possible to make decent marks in her class as my avg was i think an 86. she is very fair and very thourough! i quite liked her!
