Tadesse isn't a bad professor at all. His lectures are long and boring. However, he gives a study guide for each of his exams. He doesn't tell you this but he gives up to 15 extra bonus points for attending class. So the more you attend the more points. I'm not a geography major and have taken three of his classes. If you put the effort you'll pass

His notes are very confusing and have many typos. The test material does not match his lectures, notes, or the material in the book. There were only four tests during the semester which does not allow much room for improving your grade after one bad test. Avoid at all costs!!!

Really long, boring lectures. Some people had trouble understanding him, but I thought his accent was fine. Everything is memorization. I did not like it, but geography is not my thing.

Nice guy, not a good teacher. Heavy accent, and hard tests. If you don't study you will fail the test. Puts nothing on D2L and homework and study guides have hard questions. Good luck if you take this class

He is boring and hard to pay attention to. I hard time understanding his accent. Every single day is either lectures or tests. He posts nothing on D2L. He will give you study guides with questions you cant find answers for in your notes or the book. He DOES respond to emails however. Listen to you gut and drop as soon as you can.

He'll tell you if there's problems with your grades/attendance when he hands back work in front of the class. Accent is hard to understand...it's midterm & I'm still struggling. He isn't clear: he'll write important info on the board & won't VERBALLY explain it. I leave angry (I'm typically optimistic). This is for those will high tolerant levels.

Nice guy, but class is totally boring. All he does is lecture. He NEVER answers emails so don't even try. He does give the answers to the tests, but you can usually only understand half of them since his accent is so strong.

I love Tadesse! His classes are so easy, and if you can't handle this, then you don't belong in college. Show up to class, take notes. He gives you a study guide & the exact answers before the test & if you memorize the answers, you can get an A on the test. The only people who struggle in his classes are just lazy. Take him if you have the chance!

I am really enjoying this class. It is a study of geography psyically and the people, etc. He gives you a word for word study guide of the tests. Class is kind of boring, lots of notes. But I enjoyed it.

his lectures are boring but he answers questions clearly. he also gives a study guide in advance to your test of exactly what he'll ask you. then he'll go over it in class and give you the answers that you didn't figure out yourself. he's boring and most of the work is up to you

I have never had a class that has been as boring as this geography class. His accent is so hard to understand that you can't help falling asleep in class. His tests are a little confusing but if you like wrote recall test, this is definitely the perfect class for you! If not, I would recommend taking another teacher if at all possible.
