Mrs. Cumba was an amazing teacher. I had her for World Gov and she kept us updated on current events. Her test were online and could take them twice. Unfortunately 2018 is her last year because she is retiring. But I will take her summer online course.!!!!

Comment:

Took this course online over a summer session and it was so easy. I was able to work ahead enough I could go on vacation during the session and not be behind because she posts ahead of time when things are due. All quizzes and tests are open notes with the power points, there is no textbook. Highly recommend this class, online, with Cumba.

Took her Texas Government class over the May mini-mester. Easy A. She doesn't require a textbook, which is pretty awesome. She allows you to take the quiz, exams and current events test twice and keeps the highest of the two. Government is not my cup of tea but she did make the class some what interesting.

YOU CAN TURN IN STUFF LATE JUST ASK HER TO OPEN IT. YOU CAN "FIND" THE ANSWER BY DOWNLOADING THE CHAPTERS AND CURRENT EVENTS FOR TEST AND QUIZZES! LONG AS YOU GOT WIFI AND WORD YOU CANT FAIL.

Super easy A. All of the material is given via Power Point. Exams and quizzes are open notes. (Ctrl + F is your best friend) She is also very one sided in her notes. -8 quizzes -4 exams -4 current even exams -1 paper -NO FINAL :)

Way to obviously liberal to be teaching a federal government class. The only papers she ever sources are from notably democratic liberals. I wouldn't mind at all if she outlined both sides, however none of that is to be found.

I thoroughly enjoyed taking both my Government classes from Ms. Cumba. She was very clear on expectations and required work. I like that she had a schedule so you could work at your own pace and ahead. I enjoyed her open discussion questions as well as her power point open books tests. If you read the information, you will pass the course.

I personally don't like government so this wasn't my cup of tea to begin with. I took the online portion and had quizzes every week which is kind of annoying. There aren't video lectures just a bunch of slides, like 200 (not cool). A good teacher though, I just don't like the subject.

The class, Fed Govt. was easy. Online quizzes. About 4 tests in learning services, in the common area, PowerPoint's & Word notes allowed. A USB memory stick is a must. The bad - you have to write two papers. Easy A unless you fall behind or don't try. No textbook required, awesome; saved me $$$ and I appreciated not having to buy one.

I took Cumba for the Mini May Semester and was blown away with how easy the class was. She posts powerpoints with all the information you need and you take all tests online. Since it's online and open book I finished the class with a 100. It took sooo little of my time and was super easy.

Took her class online for a summer semester and it was super easy. All quizzes and tests are open book, and you can take them online. There is no required textbook, and no lecture, just PowerPoints to look through. There are weekly current events and a few discussion questions to respond to, and that's it!
