He's a funny guy but not the best professor. You could learn a lot from him but the online tests (100% of your grade) are often flawed and they are inherently difficult.

DO NOT TAKE HIS CLASS IF YOU HAVE A CHOICE. I tried so many different ways to study. I even asked him for suggestions-none worked. There are 4 tests-these are the ONLY grades he gives. Each test is 25 questions(online) & you have 15 minutes to finish-each covers 3 chapters. Oh! & there are 180 possible questions you could get on each. Good luck!!

There are 4 online exams, each 100 points. 15 minutes for 25 questions. Each exam covers 3 chapters, which is a ton of info. I wasn't expecting the exams to be so hard. I've never read the online book, but I have taken the online pre tests which come with the book. These are helpful. He is not helpful at all.. you are on your own. Do not take him!!

He knows what hes talking about, but my grade suffered because the only grades that were entered were 4 Exams that were worth 100 pts. each, 25 questions long, and you only have 15 minutes to take the Exam. This killed me because I did enjoy his class but you have to self teach a lot to attempt to get a good grade

Crim 403 is an easy class,except a project at the end. He makes you rate everyone in your group, even if you all do the same amount. I tried to tell him we all did the same amount, but he wouldn't listen.

He is a very smart and knowledgeable man. The tests are what's in the book and slightly on his ppts. If you don't wanna work for your grade, then don't take him. I enjoyed him very much. His stories are so amusing and he cracked jokes with us.

I do not recommend taking this professor. Very insensitive to problems and loves to talk about himself too much. There is no need to go to class if you take him, which was nice, but it is not worth it. The tests are extremely difficult, and they were all online over fridays and saturdays, and many of my weekends were ruined because of it.

He used an online simulation thing that goes with the book (that he wrote). so you need that. as long as you do all of the online work its easy. His lectures are really interesting and fun. Make sure you do the practice quizes in online simulator. They are similar and somtimes identical to the ones in the actual quizes.

Easy teacher who created the online book. Everything you need is in the book and there were virtual simulations online for cjs. You don't have to go to class, he only tells you of his personal antidotes which are amusing at times. I would take 101 with him again

HORRIBLE PROFESSOR! EVERYTHING is online. What he teaches at actual class time has nothing to do with what's on the tests. He thinks he knows everything but he doesn't. His grading for online assignments and Simulation are tough. He's just horrible. Don't ever e-mail him. He will just make fun of the e-mail that a student sent to him during class.

Nice and funny guy but not a great professor. Entire grade is based off of 11 online exams which are very hard. Exams are timed and you only get one try so you have to basically memorize the whole chapter. Going to class is useless since everything is from the book and attendance is not mandatory. Sometimes I swear I'm taking an online course.

Hes a super funny person but hes a sucky professor! He tells tons of stories and makes jokes all the time but his teaching style sucks! Quizzes are extremely hard for no reason, he doesnt go over the material in class at all its horrible! If you are used to powerpoints and the material in the text to be explained DO NOT TAKE him! GOOD GUY BAD PROF!

6 online quizes, 7 page paper, 1 threaded discussion there was supposed to be 2 but he just gave us the points. Very funny guy, you can joke around with him. Quizzes aren't the easiest thing. Doesn't give many notes, attendance is not mandatory, i only went because i liked hearing his stories. Pretty much a teach yourself kind of class
