As an ELA major I had Dr. Hall for MANY of my classes. She was amazing and after our last senior class she even went out for food with us! She continues to reach out to me and is one of the best teachers I have ever had. You will work hard in her class but the outcome is beyond worth it!

I love Dr. Hall! I used to hate writing, but she made it fun! She can get off track sometimes, but jumps back quickly. She helped me understand that there is more to everything than what you see at first glance. She is a major feminist and liberal and will let you know! Although, I don't think it effected her teaching or grading significantly.

What can I say about Dr. Hall? I absolutely love having her for class. Senior Seminar is without a doubt the most difficult class I have ever taken, but she makes it enjoyable and useful for anyone willing to put forth the effort. If you don't like hard work, then her class isn't for you, but she's great. She's a pretty awesome adviser too!

Very nice teacher. She is very helpful, she will gladly have meetings with you outside of class to help with anything you are having trouble with. My biggest problem with her is that she is pretty set on her own beliefs and she tends to offend people without realizing it. She is very fun though!

Well, honestly, I just didn't really care for her style of teaching. I mean, she was a nice woman, and helpful to an extent, but she does have her class favorites, and she talks about sex ALL OF THE TIME--non-stop. She also frequently gives misinformation concerning the material. I like her as a person, but won't be taking another of her classes.

With Dr. Hall, Middle Ages English literature make sense! She puts personality into her teaching and she's so enthusiastic, you can't help but enjoy the class. She offers fun extra credit opportunities (we could see the "Beowulf" movie) & a study guide for the final! Fun, entertaining & very informative, I will definately take her classes again.

making us go see the plays her husband's company produces is a conflict of interest. she is entertaining but self absorbed and most of what she wants you to learn isn't relevant. you really don't need to read the books because her class notes will tell you what you need to know for the final.

Really stimulating professor. I loved that she took us out to see professional theater shows and asked really challenging questions. She really knows her stuff! Some of my fellow students were rude at the play and she put them in their place. You go, girl!
