Super sweet. Her class is really helpful for beginners and she will help you in any way. I took this class so i would be better prepared for MAT111 and she definitely helped with that. If you're decent at math, this class will be a breeze. Homework after every class but its easy, quiz weekly but its easy, tests aren't bad either. Show up for credit

Mrs. Harper is so sweet and understanding. She's an excellent professor who wants to see her students succeed. There's homework due before every class and quizzes every week. You can go to her office hours or email her with any questions and she'll work you through them step by step. I highly recommend her for ANY math class.

Prof. Harper is a terrific teacher, but there is a ton of material covered in this course which means she has to fly through it. Watch out for the final - it's a departmental test and it's brutally hard.

I really like her teaching style, but she definitely made her tests and quizzes tricky. You would study all the math homework problems and have it down and then she does something a little different to the problems to make you think "crap I dont know what to do here, I didn't practice this". Needless to say I felt cheated a few times.

WONDERFUL!!! she is an absolute must take. her tests are easy and her quizzes are even easier. never takes up hw, but it is a must to succeed. SHE IS THE BEST!!!!!

TAKE THIS TEACHER!!! Mrs. Harper is SO nice and she's probably the best math teacher I've ever had. I'm absolutely horrible at math and I have an A. She's very helpful and if you do the homework and study for the quizzes and tests you're bound to do well! If you have to the chance to get into her class, she's the best.

Harper is very helpful. She covers material well in Pre-Calc for you to go on to Calculus. If you go to class and study with the homework she gives you...you will do well. The final exam was hard...studying was hard for that. Other than that she is great! Such a sweet person.

I have always struggled in math. I am a 4.0 student otherwise (1370 SAT, debate cap., news paper edititor, pre-med), but I was never taught the fundamentals. She is patient and caring with her students, and was able to teach me how to master calculus. Her notes packet is EXCELLENT and well-organized; her teaching style is second to none.

She's a sweet old lady. Too sweet. She makes you buy her notes and then you have to read them aloud in class. Went to her for help and she told me to drop her class. Would not offer any help even though I explained to her at the time I was just beginning depression treatment and was having a difficult time in life.

Awesome Teacher. Had to drop Rivers for business calc last semester. She makes sure you don't get lost by calling on everyone in class and encouraging questions. Highly reccomend her. She is very organized and knows that not everybody will know how to do the work .

I loved her! I had never taken Calculus before and she made it possible to understand. Attendance is mandatory but class just flys by because she keeps you busy. Definitely recommend. I wish I had her for pre-cal!

She is very nice and extremely organize. She is a wonderful math professor. I am highly recommend her to anyone. It is very important to make sure that you do every single homeworks and come to her office to get help. Study your packet and come to class. It is an easy A if you could put some effort into calculus. :)

I love Dr. Harper she is so nice. Her class was a breeze. If you have never taken calc before you should take her. Her take home quizzes are hard i'd rather have in class quizzes. Her tests are fair but require studying. Do your homework and you will pass the class.

Great! Do the homework every night and you'll be fine. She's amazingly sweet. If there was a bomb headed straight for Charleston, I'd want her to tell me the bad news. She makes everything more pleasant.

As with any math course the key is doing homework and review assignments. She is VERY methodical and does everything step-by-step. If you have to take Calc I and are not the best in Math, Ms. Harper is perfect. She doesn't do any favors (i.e. she's fair) but will do everything she can to help you pass - ask her questions, she will answer tham all!!
