Her teaching methods are pretty outdated and the fact that she has no respect for the class makes her intolerable. I was in her class for about 3 weeks til I had the last straw and so I left it. AVOID HER AT ANY COST!

Dr. Longknife was an excellent Professor, once you get over her stong and sometimes intimidating personality. She is very helpful with Essays! As long as you do the work and read-you'll be fine.

Although this professor has some good points, she boasts so much about her adventurous past that whatever good you get out of her lesson is completely drowned out about her perfect grades and perfect poems. She has a certain kind of sardonic humor that I believe only English professors can have. Not a bad class if you can tolerate her attitude.

This professor is extremely old fashioned and very set in her ways. She has a problem giving constructive criticism, instead she yells at you on papers. She will also openly tell you that your opinion of something is wrong. if you want to learn to write more effectively then I would suggest finding another professor.

I was actually in her class for two weeks then had to switch to another teacher. The first meeting of class we had about 25 people a full class, then the second class meeting we only has 10 people. Everyone else dropped. So I switched to another professor. She isn't a good professor.

I really enjoyed this class...and that is saying alot for an advanced composition class...you will learn to make your essays concise and to the point...she makes her classes interesting with lots of humor and sarcasm...she's a funny teacher
