Great professor. She is fun and interesting and the work load is very manageable. Expect some adjustment though because she uses immersion instead of memorization. The home work and quizzes are like guidebooks for the exams.

I love this instructor!! I have had her for Italian 1 and 2. I've also taken her Italian Film class. She is very helpful when you go to her. She will take the time to explain things to you. Italian is not the easiest language to learn unless you have has a previous language but all in all it's not too bad. I will take her again whenever I can!!

The class was incredibly easy, pretty much on a high school level. Despite the movies she selected and lectures selected sometimes seeming random, she did have a purpose for everything and tied it all together neatly. At any rate, this is a good buffer course if all your other courses are difficult.

Dal Pra is a great professor. She's dedicated and loves the subject she teaches. That being stated, she cares that the students learn. Italian in general is a fairly easy language to learn. The only students I ever noticed to struggle were the ones who were careless and didn't work.

Honestly, i did kinda like her... but she is VERY difficult to understand, and not just because she has an accent, but rather because she has poor grammar and is very unclear when she speaks. she didnt follow the syllubus and she didnt tell us how she graded. when she was asked to let us know how our grade would be calculated she didnt.CLASS SUCKED

I just want to add, that Daniela is the teacher to have if you are serious about learning Italian. If anyone thinks she is anti American, it is probably because studenti in Italy make Americans look stupid!!! Young people in U.S.A. are more concerned for their "TOYS" than concerned about learning! You kids need to grow UP!

She is a great teacher! I transferred here from another school and into her intermediate class, I thought I would fall behind but she made sure I was right one track! She teaches real life italian lessons and pulls references from current events in Italy! She gets along with all the students and really does want you to become fluent in conversation

She was a terrible teacher, she changed the entire liberal studies course, she even changed the name of the course the first day she was there. She is very hard too understand because she teaches a language. She uses mostly italian picutres and poems in this class and no one can understand.
