I can almost guarantee Prof. Contarino will be the sweetest and most generous person you will meet at Saint A's. She really cares for and is truly dedicated to educating all of her students. Her grading can be tough at times, but if you show an effort in wanting to improve your writing and meet with her, it will most definitely help your grade.

Professor Contarino is one of the nicest professors I have ever met. She always shows genuine care for her students. There is a good amount of papers, but she is always available to help and will read drafts for you. I would definitely recommend taking freshman english with her!

MY FAVORITE PROFESSOR AT SAC. She truly cares about her students and it is a real comfort to have her freshman year. She is a stickler for bad grammar, but then again she is an english professor. I still keep intouch with her today and go out for tea. If you are ever stressed about anything even room mate problems she is a great listener!!!

Very nice, kindhearted woman. A LOT of work for an intro class with a LOT of papers in the second semester, but a lot is learned. Can be a bit boring in lecture, but a fast responder to e-mail help and reviewed drafts for us. Fair grader and reasonable. If you're willing to read a lot and work hard, it's a good class.
