Dr. Fritz is one of the worst professors I have had at Duquesne. You have to buy a ton of small books, plus her course notes and study guides are sold at the bookstore rather than her posting the exact same powerpoints. The book costs $114. She has 5 TA's and the class is still a disorganized mess. Do not take!

Dr. Fritz is awesome! She is one of the most helpful ladies I have ever met. She is very flexible and very accommodating. Only buy the short stories book, every other one is useless. Definitely buy the course packet! Be sure to do all of the bonus and it's impossible not to get an A. Definitely take Dr. Fritz for your comm requirement!

This lady is incredibly awesome. Material was easy, but still interesting. Didn't need to go to class, but I wanted to, just for the FUN of it. She is very helpful outside of class too. I would definitely recommend her. Oh yeah, and she's just a little bit insane (but in a good way).

Dr. Fritz is such a great teacher. She really knows her stuff and is very helpful with explaining answers to questions. She's very hyper and often goes off on strange tangents. Her tests are incredibly simple; just look over your notes and pay attention in class.

Dr Fritz is a great teacher! She is extremely smart but teaches the lower level classes well. Easy class, just turn in the concept papers and read workbook for the tests. Don't buy the textbooks! Barely used them. She is a good person to get to know for the future!

Take her! Keep up with the weekly papers and talk a lot and she'll like you. Tests can be difficult, so partner up with others to get the study guides done. Do all extra credit, and you should be able to pull a B at least. Also, share the books- rarely used.

This class is so easy. Turn in concept papers and take the exams (if you complete all the assignments your grade on the tests is not important for the final grade). I learned nothing from this course. I went maybe five times and got an A in the class. Waste of time to attend. However, she is really funny.

What a joke. Students who come to learn and work hard get the same grade as slackers who don't show and don't meet deadlines. Yeah, she's easy but is that the measure of a good teacher? I'm sick of people pleasers like Fritz who just want to be loved (and get good evals). She's a nice lady but should be teaching at a community college somewhere.

Tests directly f/ the notes, don't even need to waste your $$ on the book. Just do the study guide, cos those are basically the test questions, and if you still mess up, there's plenty of bonus opportunities in short papers.
