This was probably one of my favourite classes and she is definitely my favourite prof at SMU. She is no-nonsense, but also extremely friendly if you want to discuss things after. You can't get away with not doing readings, but overall I strongly recommend taking her class.

Good professor, seems intimidating and no-nonsense, but encourages independent thought and personal experience without letting the class jerks rule. Make careful note of deadlines and syllabus changes, go to class, and you'll do very well.

Amazing prof. I definitely recommend taking her. She's nice and getting an A is easy if you go to class and follow syllabus. 6 small papers (1 page each), attendance is counted, and 2 in class essays. Amazzzzzzing!

I took every class I could with Dr Dalton while at SMU. I was not a major or even a minor. She is just the type of person that makes you want to learn. She is a very intelligent and articulate woman. Also, so sweet. A great role model! I am now at another university and wish I was back in Dr Dalton's classroom :)

I have taken every possible class with Dr. Dalton in my 5 years at SMU. She's probably the best professor the University has. She is personable, interesting and goes beyond the call of duty on a regular basis. Her classes are great, major or not. Tests and papers are marked fairly. Do your readings and go to class and you're good to go for an A. :)

Dr.D was an excellent professor. I normally take Psyc courses, but taking Love with HER was a good choice. She gives three quizzes(2 MC and Short Answer)and a final exam (essay question is giving prior to exam). Also you participate in panel discussions which are really interesting. Take this course, you wouldn't regret it!!!

The course is definitely interesting. She gives MC quizzes, you do need to study. Some of the class discussions are good. She takes attendance at each lecture, so you have to go class. It is a good course for an elective, but if you want an easy one, you do have to put your work in. She is really nice and helpful.
