I loved having Professor Neelon for HUM 211. She made the class interesting and enjoyable because she made us write about and discuss all of our readings. I feel like I became a better reader and writer because of her.

Comment:

She is a nice lady that is willing to help you, but her classes are way too boring to bare. She focuses way too much on Irish history for a class that was not Irish Literature based. When discussing the readings she has a bad habit of trailing off on discussions that make no sense about the reading. She's nice, but I wouldn't recommend.

Neelon is a good teacher! I was dreading humanities from the get-go, but, as long as you try and give an effort, you won't fail. You only have two papers all semester. Only 2 tests as well. Attendance is mandatory but if something comes up, she will work with you! Sweet lady who loves literature and teaching. Class is boring, but get it over with!

Her class is kind of boring but she is very helpful. Gives you study guides for the tests and only two papers. Does give quizzes over the reading everyday but offers alot of extra credit. I am not interested in this subject at all but definitely recommend her! Super nice too

I had her for humanities this spring. It was the first time she had taught the class in a while and it showed. She taught it like it was an upper level class and she expects you to know alot going in. Can be kinda vague sometimes cut overall shes a great teacher.

Don't bother with this woman. Seriously. Take Barker instead. I learned more from one semester of a one credit hr class with him than from three semesters of her three hour snore fests. No idea how to guide a poetry discussion. Learned nothing. Absolutely useless. They need to can her.

This teacher is SO horrible. Her classes are REALLY boring and if you don't write poetry *exactly* as she thinks it should be she gives you bad grades. She plays favorites and she's really phony. I dunno. I had her for a class and I never want to do poetry again. It was that bad. From now on I'm sticking to fiction. I hated it that much.

Ann is a wonderful woman. She can be hard on you about your poems / work, but it's in your best interest. Just try to improve yourself and you'll do find. She can be scatterbrained, but I still think she's a great professor. It makes class interesting.

This woman is... having to sit through her classes is ... like torture. It's so dull. She has NO clue about time management. She stretched out to 3 hours what could be done in 1. She spends most of the time talking about something she read but can't remember. Completely ridiculous and other teachers agree with me. I'll NEVER take her again.
