Awful. He has "combined classes" almost every class and won't give you the time back by cancelling another one. He NEVER explains anything and it's useless going to his office hours. He told us in class absolutely not to do something on a brief and then took major points off when we followed that instruction. Use the T.A. or you will learn nothing.

Some students in my class were given multiple chance to "rewrite" while others had to just accept the grade they were given. By the end of the year I could tell who he favored. Somehow I got an A in Contract and Torts yet I got a C in this class. If he doesn't like you get the pleasure of a 6 credit hr. C. Thanks for killing my gpa!

Least favorite teachers at Marshall. He has his favorite students and if you aren't one of them you are screwed. Grading not anonymous- he knows your number. Always got the same crappy grade no matter how hard I tried. He would give me no help at conferences despite having full drafts- He would give others extensions and rewrite their papers.

Very nice guy...doesn't seem to get it. Not accessible outside of class at all, not clear with feedback. Lays out exactly how to write papers...just follow it and you'll be fine, you just may not learn much.

Did not like his class. Everytime I came to him with a question outside of class he would always answer back with "well what do you think?" He was also rude to students in class. I'm glad I never have to take him again.

Not very helpful for 1st year legal writing. Class time was painful and I thought it would never end. Slow, painful and irrelevant. Also, he was difficult to get in touch with outside of class. On more than one occasion he told me that he did not have time to talk with me. I am sure he is a great legal writer but teaching it is another issue.
