Probably the worst prof I have ever had. She treats students like children. Explains 3rd grade level history/facts/words. Lectures (that are poor & disorganized) even tho it is a seminar. Discourages questions/comments. Everyone clearly on phones/laptops during class. Also is often 5/10m late to class. No one does readings. Not even a very easy A!

She's not amazing, but she's less work than some professors. She doesn't really respect the time limits of the course (goes over when she isn't allowed to), and sometimes she is a little demeaning of women's art in her lectures.

This is quite possibly the worst class I've ever taken, and I've been in school for a very long time. Ann teaches graduate level students as if we're kindergardeners, assigns purposeless busy and unclear hw assignments, and is probably the least articulate professor I've ever had. Sooo many tangents! Sitting in her class has literally been torture.

She makes history seem boring and should not be teaching designers. Part of our grade class participation, yet whenever people talk, she shooshes them. I can't believe she is allowed to teach. She also fumbles with the internet too much and over explains things that are easy to understand.

I unfortunately had to take this professor for more than one class. Although I recognize that she may have a lot knowledge, this woman has zero communication skills and talks at the class instead of to them. She may be a nice lady, but as a teacher and communicator, I would highly recommend against taking her classes. She managed to turn a highly interesting subject into tedium! She gives bizarre tests and assignments and is not receptive to any class feedback or questions.

I had her for Hist of ComD. Knows A LOT about the subject but doesn't do a good job in keeping your interest. Lecture skills are poor. You literally fall asleep in her class. You don't really have to buy two of the smaller books. She never used them. Get the big black book. I thought she graded fair. .

Everyone hates on how boring history of comD is, but I feel like I learned a lot in this class and have the necessary foundation to sound like a professional. She's more interested in students understanding concepts and design movements that specific dates.

No doubt that Prof S knows her subject. But she has a hard time articulating her thoughts. She jumps from idea to idea, there is no coherence to her lecture. When we are paying almost 200$ for every class, we ought to get a knowledgeable teacher who knows how to teach. This is not good value for money. Grad school is not for cutesy stuff.
