Comment:
His lectures can get a bit boring but you basically never read the book. All you really have to read is the extra readings on his website. He assigns a lot of papers but they're all short and if you pay attention in his lecture, the paper writes itself. If you get a bad grade on the paper he lets you rewrite it.

literally just do the essay (you dont even have to turn them in on time, just by the midterm & final) and raise you hand once or twice in class and you will be fine. he has admitted to only reading the first page of your essay before grading it. sometimes repeats himself but over all a very sweet old man, and pretty funny.

Thinks he is funny and interesting. He's not. Tells lots of bad stories and assigns lots of essays. Thinks that we are all ignorant (he asked us if we knew about the Cold War the other day) and seems to think that our generation is hopeless.

Take him if you want to write a lot of essays, constantly be told that your generation is uninformed and if you want to be really bored in class. For some reason he thinks that his course and essays are really important.

He's pretty good I think, as long as you actually read those readings. I mean you can't really get away with that kinda stuff, also he'll make it easy for you......but that was pretty rush.
