The classwork itself was easy but the tests and the design assignment were more difficult. Especially the first test and the first design assignment, I failed both of those and I never fail things. After that though the class got a little easier.

Great professor. The material can be deep and many do not see "the point", but you will be thankful in the workplace. Do the work and ask questions and you will be rewarded. She is really nice and a no b.s. kind of woman.

Overall I thought TSTM 346 was harder than 348. I recommend you take 348 first to get a handle on how she is. Even though she makes it tough, I promise you will come out knowing Excel and Access. She is VERY helpful in her office so go see her if you need to.

Ms. Swafford is a very nice lady outside of class. She may seem hard but it is important stuff to know. I ended up with a B. Just go to class and come prepared everyday and you will do fine.

Hardest class i have taken at USC. She will moves tests around unexpectedly, and there are a rediculous amount of test in the class. There are 4 different testing "groups" for a total of something like 15 - 20 test in the semester. Very very very hard grader.Advice: get on her goo side early and you should fair out with at least a C.

She is a hard teacher. She does not help very much, although she is knowledgeable about her class. Beware if possible, you cannot make low grades on major tests, as they have to average a 73 just to pass, no matter what other grades are in the class.
