Terrible teacher. All she does is go on about pointless things. I bet I could tell you her life story by now. Quizes and tests are easy if you read, but her logs are insanely hard and count for more than your tests! DON'T take her! She ALWAYS keeps you past the time class ends. Says she'll help you but doesn't when you go to her. Very judgemental!

She's a very nice lady, but she tends to go on too long and just becomes really boring. The tests and quizzes are easy if you read. The Logs are a real pain but they can be somewhat helpful. I just found it funny I'm doing more work for a 200 level class than for my 300 level courses.

She is a really sweet teacher who is more than willing to help you out. her grading could seem a little harsh at first, but she hands out more than enough information needed on how to write a perfect paper or journal. I only had her as a 203 teacher but she was not hard at all. People should take her only if their willing to read if not take someone else. She easy as all get out, but you got to do the work which is not bad at all. You read short stories and a little poetry and 3 novels all spaced out so your not reading one right after the other. Easy teacher!!

I think mrs yearick is a great teacher. You should go to every class and she'll help you out more. There are only four papers to write in english 101 and there almost all about yourself/things that have happened to you. I'm sure anyone can do that. She is so cute and actually cares what you have to say. Overall, you should take her class.

genuinely a nice woman, however she expects to much of her students and in doing so kills their grades. She gives multiple research papers, with the final topping 30 pages... and this is a freshman course - nuts. I highly recommend taking another teacher unless your up for a serious time consuming challenge.
