Comment:

This class was easy, but boring and uninteresting. The reading is only needed to pass the occasional pop quiz. However, Prf. Gade is very energetic and occasionally just decides not to give us a pop quiz and give us credit for it instead. You must go to class for addendance points.

Anna goes through the material really quickly, but she knows what she's talking about. She's very engaging and friendly, and is just a lot of fun to listen to.

The material is interesting but she is somewhat scattered in her teaching style and vague in her expectations. Also, the subject of the class, material religion, though fascnating, seems out of context for someone who has never taken a religion class before and has no background on the religions covered. This should not be and intoductor course.

Gade was my Advisor, and a great one at that. She does have a tendancy to plow through a ton of material real fast, but is always open to meet with students outside of class to clarify things if needed.

this is a challenging course, and it doesnt help that she isnt methodical.shes really on top of her material and goes through it pretty fast, so students have to try hard to keep up with her.but, shes always willing to clarify things during office hours
