Most absent-minded, goofy person I have ever encountered. As long as you write an answer on the test and your answer is ambiguous (example: How did the girl in Rape of the Lock feel when her hair was cut off? "I would be so shocked at the randomness of someone cutting my hair, maybe that's how she felt") you've got an A.

She is FANTASTIC! She will explain things in a way that didn't seem possible before, and she's ALWAYS trying to help her students. She is the most caring and genuine person that I've met on campus, and I would recommend her to everyone. She makes literature a very easy class!

Unbelievably easy!! The test is the same as the study guide. I never opened my textbooks and I got a 95 in the class. She is very absent-minded, feminist, and ditzy and that kind of gets annoying.

Dr. Lott is a fantastic teacher. I have never had a class with her that I did not learn new things, broaden my horizons, and have exposure to new viewpoints. She provides opportunites for her students to be activists, and to really make a difference on this campus. She is one of my favorite professors at this institution.

One of the easiest and nicest teachers I have had. We talked her into playing games during class and going outside. If we were not finished with an essay she would push the due date back for us. She was always willing to help anybody!!!!

I took ENG 231 during summer after a 25 year abscence from school. I expected the class to be more difficult than it was. You can tell she loves the material. She is willing to listen to your POV, and help you over the rough spots. If I have the chance I will sit in her class again.
