Anna Maria is a great prof and makes things fun for a language course. There are many things that go into your final grade so its less stressful. She is a tough marker in the sense that there are rarely part marks. If you put in the work then you will get an A

Anna Maria is one of the nicest, funniest profs at McGill. She really cares about her students and will work with the class to make sure everything is manageable. She also is willing to go over past material that enough students didn't understand during class time. The environment she creates in the classroom is open, welcoming, and fun.

Anna Maria is by far my favourite professor! I took both the italian language classes with her and she was extremely helpful, had great lectures and was very passionate about the italian language. Extremely considerate and both these classes are easy A's if you put in the work.

Anna-Maria is wonderful. We had an amazing class, we laughed a lot. It was not the easiest language class I had ever attended but I am happy I took it. There are lots of homeworks. She is a fair grader. I thought I did poorly but I got an A. I would recommend her to anybody. Great teacher.

She is a phenomenal prof. She gives many ways to succeed, no one assignment counts for much. She understands people get nervous when they have to participate and gets that it's hard to write in a foreign language, but still pushes you to learn. She makes my day every single class, she's so funny and always in a good mood.

She is a lovely person and a nice prof. She can explain things in both French or English if people aren't understanding which is nice. Her lessons aren't very structured which was annoying at times. Tests aren't easy but they're not difficult either. She's very willing to help and is super nice! I'd recommend her class.

She is amazing! So helpful, so clear in her lectures, and really tries to make class fun. take her if you want to learn italian but make sure to do all the homeowork! she checks, but in the long run its very helpful. she is fair and super nice. :D

if you have any interest in taking an italian class but you're nervous it's going to be too hard, have no fear. she's an amazing teacher and a very fair grader. If you take the intensive, keep in mind that there is A LOT of homework, but you'll be thankful come finals and you are adequately prepared.

AMAZING! AnnaMaria is incredible. She is always in a good mood, and has so much fun with the class. We laugh atleast 5 good laughs during the class. She is so friendly, and very helpful and understanding when you have trouble. The class is very very easy, especially if you have a knowledge of Spanish or French. A great schedule filler!
