Interesting course filled with information packed lectures. Had to write 3 or 4 7-8pg. papers over case study type prompts (policy papers), a midterm paper encompassing concepts learned as well as a final paper that revolved around a given scenario. Extremely knowledgeable and intelligent. He is also friendly and willing to help if you ask him

Prof. Chambers was awesome. He assigns a lot of reading but if you simply read, you will ace the tests & quizzes. He lectures the whole class time but does a good job at engaging. He talks about interesting things.

I LOVE Chambers! Although there is an attendance policy and he is severely obsessed with China, Chambers is awesome. His quizzes and exams are pretty self-explanatory if you pay attention and take notes. I missed an exam and he was super cool about letting me make it up for full credit. He says the readings are mandatory, I never did one and passed

Dr. chambers was a terrible teacher. I loved political science before taking his class, and i have completely changed my major because of it. The reading is very dry, and expect 10+ pages a night. Everyone falls asleep in class, and he would grade my essays like an English teacher. He loves talking about china and how much he hates trump.

Overall, he is a nice professor. However, he is definitely an auditory teacher and expects way too much reading. The study guides for each exam are not helpful AT ALL, especially for the final exam! If you don't participate, read, and ask questions then you're going to have no idea what is going on in the class.

For a 100 level class, there was too much reading and too high of expectations. Lectures were interesting, though. Two group presentations, not bad if you get a good group (randomly assigned) like I did. Tests can be tough, but I aced them without doing the readings. Just go to class and pay attentiontake notes and struggle through.

Great professor. Friendly and helpful. Interesting discussions in this class. We accomplished a lot of work, but it was so well spaced throughout the semester that it was never overwhelming. Lots of feedback on returned papers. Very intelligent.

The best professor in the Poli Sci department, hands down. He's an extremely tough grader, but actively engages students in discussion and other interactive activities. I learned so much in this class and would highly recommend him to others

Dr. Chambers is one of the best profs I have ever had. He really makes it a point to make sure his students understand the material before moving on. He is willing to work with students and even gave our tests and papers back to correct for credit, and a grade boost. Great for PSCI majors who want a break from some of the harder profs.

OK- i had him for political science, and dont remember the number but he is a great teacher. I didnt do well i think mainly because i didnt do the reading but I loved listening to him hes a very nice guy, felt like he could be my dad. He made me want to come to class and he showed an immense interest in what he was doing. I highly recommend him!!!
