I was told this class was easy but I'd beg to differ. She removed cheat sheets for this semester and I felt her exams were challenging. Plus the curve is ridiculous for an A. With that said, she is an amazing lecturer but I wouldnt take this class for an easy A.

Took this class SP 2011, got a B+ but really worked for it, didn't think this was an "easy A", you had to attend class to know answers to some exam questions, prof knows her stuff and cares for her students, recommend for any serious student!

I can see why people like her (VERY easy A) but this class was a joke. She lets you have a "cheat sheet" for tests that you can write anything you want on. It is almost insulting to have a 300 level class be so easy. I don't remember anything she "taught" and I took this class last semester. Recommended for those who want easy As with no effort.

Very interesting class, proff. is engaging and interesting. The subject is not boring at all. She does not keep you for the full three hours of the course!! Class began at 650 and she usually lets us out no later than 9:15 - 9:00 NO FINAL! Two exams make up your grade, she lets u bring review sheet to exam! project available for extra credit EASY A

Took this class in FA '10. great teacher with real world experience as a lawyer. definitely recommend this class. i didn't like the late hrs but she only teaches at night. she cares about the students.

One exam, one final, one take home assignment (with 6 essays) - you choose two you want to take/have graded. She lets you use a cheat sheet on the tests. This class is ridiculous - she keeps you until 10 PM and takes the entire time to go over one or two simple concepts. You have to attend class - she passes around articles that are on the test

I had a 85 and got a B. You don't get your exam back so you have to honor her judgment. There are two essays and a lot of the grading is inflicted on your writing skill not on knowledge of the topic. Good Luck

Finished summer session two wks ago and this was one of my best classes at S.B.! The professor was knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Lively discussions, interesting topics, caring prof. I was there for every class & there were only 3 classes she wasn't there for, 2 of which the TA was instructed to show relevant films & 1 for completely valid safety reasons; there were reports of a gunman on campus
