Comment:

She's a good professor. Her only problem is that she cares too much about the students. She makes her own notes and prints them for the students. She also puts in many extra hours to help students. Her exams are difficult but she usually allows a cheat sheet which helps. No textbook need, which is awesome. She's a total nerd and very lovable.

Comment:

Prof Evans really cares about her students understanding the material. She is happy to save her students money by not using the textbook instead she provides very detailed lecture notes that are very helpful for homework as well as tests and she also allows notes on tests. Her lectures are very interesting because she gives real life examples.

She is a good stats teacher. Teaches us what's going to be used throught your career. Test are like the study guide and you're allowed a cheat sheet on the test.

Comment:

She cares that you pass this class. The notes that she provided had so many typo errors and watching her lectures doesn't help me learn. Teaching yourself and writing your own notes is recommended to learn. She allows cheat sheets in test which you can write anything which is an easy A. Taking calculus now and learn more trig than this class.

Prof. Evans is a nice teacher, but I don't like how she lectures. Read off her notes, make typo errors, and rush to finish on time. Had to teach myself the whole thing. I'm glad I survived. Exams are easy because she allows cheat sheet. Easy A but lectures are terrible.

Easy class because of cheat sheet on exams, but avoid her if you're taking higher math. She makes typo errors and leaves you more confused if you ask questions. Take it if you know trig already.

Even though she cares that we pass by allowing cheat sheet, that's not enough. I don't like how she lectures. She reads off of her notes and make typo errors. I end up leaving class half of the time just to do homework and teach myself. Not acceptable.

If you see her for Math C. Take her, she is so easy. She accepts late hw and let use notes on the midterm and final exams. Only 1-cheat sheet, I think. But I remember that for the final exam she lets us use 5-cheat sheets. At that time, she didn't mean to say that but she couldn't take her word back so she let us our cheat sheets on the final exam. (Spring 2017)

Ms. Evans cares that you do well in class so she makes herself available outside of class as well. Very generous with her time. She allows "cheat sheet" exams - very generously. Provided a lot of handouts in class as well as having them available online!

Anne is a character. She is a nerd, which I love!! She will make you work for your grade, but allow you a cheat sheet. She also provides you with the book handout so you don't have to purchase the book. Labs are done on Excel. Taking her class is very beneficial in the outside world because what you do in the labs, you will do for your 4yr college.

I was nervous to have to take this class again and during the summer, but she is the best teacher for stats!!! I recommend if you are having to take stats take it with her! She is so helpful and cares about all her students. I really enjoyed her class. Best Math teacher I have ever had at mission college.

Professor Evans is the greatest professor I ever met. First of all, she gives lecture nots and every steps are on the lecture notes. For the homework, the answers can be found from the lecture notes. For exams, she allows cheat sheet. With her help, I got a C. I should do better but I took 6 classes last semesters. Professor Evans is so flexible.

I cant express how much this teacher rocks. I have struggled with statistics and had already attempted to take it a couple times prior to taking it over the summer with professor Evans. She gives very good lecture notes, and practice quiz's and tests. There are makeup quiz's and tests for every test or quiz you miss, and she is very flexible.

I took her Summer 2015 and I'm horrible at ANY kind of math but she was very easy!Just make sure to do all of your assignments and try to get a B or higher on both tests and the cumulative Final Exam and you should pass with a B or better. I received a B and could have got an A if I tried a little harder but all the tests allow notes so just listen

This teacher was very helpful this summer. I took her class and even though it was a fast class I passed the class. She gives out homework and labs but they're very simple to do and all her notes and practice problems come with the solutions so you'll know how to do them if you get stuck. She also lets you use cheat sheets for all tests.

She is the stats teacher you want. 2nd time trying stats Withdrew first time because it was too hard. Anne Evens knows how to teach it, gives you the notes, wants you to succeed. This is the stats teacher you want. Tons of office hours, makes it easy.

Took her Saturday class which ran a little over 4 hrs. No textbook needed. Takes attendance. Lots of helpful handouts each week: lecture notes, practice problems, HW problems, lab notes. HW and labs are assigned pretty much every week. If you need to take stats, take it w/ Evans. A lot easier than other stats teachers! Enjoyed the class. :)
