He honestly sucks at teaching! He doesn't make sense half the time! Never in my life have I hated the way a teaches until I met him! Seriously stay away! Oh and if you do end up with him or his online classes be sure to have your work life work around his schedule!

This was by far the worst class I've ever had. He has loads of pages of rules and is overly strict on them. It lacked the spirit of philosophy, the class was essentially read the whole book and try to memorize it for the hundreds of multiple choice problems that felt like he created from randomly turning to a page and making a question.

Took the online winter course. I would not recommend taking it in the winter. The class was not too bad, but there was just a lot of work to finish in a short amount of time. As long as you understand his instructions, pay attention to the due dates, read the book and do the homework, it is possible to get an A.

DO NOT TAKE HIS CLASS!!! his syllabus is 8pgs long, creates folders with close to 100 pgs to read on HOW to do his assignments. If u don't follow it, he will deduct points. He will fail u if he feels ur essay is not up to HIS standard. Crazy part, he actual wants u to get HIS book that he wrote for this class..I mean talkin abt sellin urself..

Don't take online class unless you're really motivated. Doesn't really help out. Syllabus is too wordy. Gives bonus assignments, but they're still long.

Very strict. Big work load. Lots of assignments in between assignments. Syllabus is full of typos but he WILL dock you points if you ask questions about it. Doesn't seem like he wants to teach or help students. Bonus points are offered towards the end. DO THEM!!

He doesn't like to teach. Syllabus full of typos but he'll dock points if you ask questions on it. Big workload, no breaks. Very strict. Is not interested in helping students but once the class starts failing he'll offer bonus credits, but they're still hard and boring.

Took online summer course & it was brutal. Read textbook front to back, wrote short essays/discussion board responses per chapter, midterms & finals were multiple choice but had essay prompts from the pool we chose for each chapter. So it was in your interest to have a response prepared beforehand for Every.Single.Essay.Prompt.

Hard is an understatement... He didn't do much lecture. The class was only about correcting homework and taking quizes. With the exception of 2 or 3 people everyone was clueless about the material. i'm glad he retired because he was a very lazy professor.

Very difficult to understand, he wrote his own text which is equally difficult to understand and use. Very interested in the most trivial of useless knowledge, incapable of admitting when wrong.

Dr. Le is very one-sided in a lot of the philosophical views we covered. If you disagree with him, he'll make you feel like an idiot and give you a bad grade for the assignment. I learned my lesson from other people in the class and just agreed with him to secure a good grade. He's retiring soon, so he's more lenient.

He can be very irritating and stubborn. Go to all classes and do all homework and you should be fine (he curves quizes and exams). This is my second philosophy class with him - he seems to be getting more lenient.

Strict and picky. Uses self-written book that is just as unclear as his lectures. Lots of busy work and home work, quizzes on all chapters. He's stubborn and old-fashioned, and also the only philosophy teacher at MC. The only way to learn is to ask a lot of questions since he teaches straight out of his book.

He is strict. The material is boring to many. the way he teaches resents many. Photocopy the homework pages and get graded, if you wish to resell the book. What I learn from him strengthens my ability to reason soundly and deal with fallacies. An A is not impossible but he will make you sweat. Be fair-minded and you will see he is respectable.
