I don't really understand why everyone is saying she's such a tough grader. If you studied the information she gave you, you should do really well on the tests. The papers were tedious to write sometimes, but they weren't really difficult. Lectures were sometimes boring, but certain elements of it were interesting.

This professor really likes to talk. She is very passionate in what she does, but you will become bored instantly. Test are short answer questions, & likes the answers to be written in a certain way. Nice lady tho

Dr. Hamilton is passionate in what she discusses but her teaching does not really get students involved so discussions can become a drag. She is also a tough grader and I had to work pretty hard to get the grade I got. Her questions from the assignments are on the mid-term and final, so that's nice. Go to class but take her at your discretion.

I took me awhile to actually like Anne. She's very monotoned and it's hard to focus and stay awake in her class. You don't have too much homework, one presentation, only two exams, and optional map quizzes throughout the semester so it's super easy to get a bad grade. She is tough grader on papers, worst than most english professors.

Exams are all short answer, but she doesn't give you the answers to the study guide questions so you never know if you're right or not. Toughest grader I've ever had. She use to be a professional editor so she grades papers worse than any English teacher. Her class is a lot of work, even if you go to class it is still impossible to get a good grade

You never know what to except on exams. She will give you a review guide, but doesn't give you the answers so you have to figure out the answers for yourself and then she yells at you when you get them wrong. Hardest class to pass.

she doesn't use the text book, but makes you read long articles in the hopes that you will relate it back to class. for the tests they are all short answer and if you don't write a few paragraphs per answer you don't get credit.

She is a super nice person and loves teaching this course but sometimes it could be jumbled on what you talk about. All the tests are short answer and you need to really explain, like two to three sentences each or more. Don't skip class because attendance is part of your grade and loves if you participate. She will know your name as well.

This was the hardest class I've ever taken, which is ridiculous for a gened class. Her exams need countless hours of studying to receive a decent grade. She used to be a professional editor so her papers are graded on both content of the subject and english structure. The lectures are very boring. Stay clear of this woman, for your own sake.

Professor Hamilton is a nice lady, but she is way too old school. She is a very tough grader and has extremely boring lectures that are mandatory. She accused me of plagiarism on something that was a clear mistake and almost ruined my chances of getting into law school, but the Dean cleared it for me. Do not take her!

Prof. Hamilton has a lot of background knowledge of what her classes are about. Boring lectures and hard tests. Tests are all short answer, and if you do not study, you WILL fail. Powerpoints online, print them out and take notes when she is talking. A LOT of readings as well. Nice prof though.
