Although I did not pass his class but I feel so lucky to have gotten him as a ESL teacher, I enjoyed his class and I learned a lot. He has a way of making dry subjects really interesting. I only hope some of my college teachers can be half as good as him.

Okay let me be clear. Those who said Professor Ulrich is tough or mean or something like that are students who didn't put the needed effort into the class and they had to find someone to blame for instead of themselves. I took his summer ESL 061 class and got an A. Yup this is not an easy class, but the harder the class is the better in Eg you gain
