As a teacher, she is always well prepared and explains grammar points very very well. However, she can be a tad condescending to those who struggle in her class. I also found that she made no effort to assist students outside of class. Does have favorites. Will not think much of you if you are not an A student.

There's no doubt that she is as good a teacher as one can be.I was a good student, I participated and all that stuff. When I needed her most though, she said she was too busy for me. Got B+ for both her classes. To get an A, you have to sweat. Projects are incredibly long and repetitive. Get started WAY ahead of time people!!!

great class. great lectures but 2 projects are ridiculously long. overall, if you study and do the exercises, you should be ok. write papers worthy of a master's degree because her ta grades like its nobody's business.

grammar isn't an easy subject to teach, but i thought she did a great job. The mid-terms were easy but the final was brutally long and painful! You need to know everything in detail because she will ask it for sure! All in all, good class, recommend taking it with Anne for sure!

Anne, is one of the best teachers I had. She made a dry subject (grammar) interesting, easy and fun. I enjoyed her class. She has a wonderful sense of humour. Some non-native English speakers may not get the humour. She's tough but fair and very knowledgable. She appreciates students that actively participate and complete their assignments on time.

Very organized class, masterfully deployed,done with humour, interesting. BUT, does play favourites with students, will make very innapropriate comments to those who she feels are "slacking"(regardless of the reason which she doesn't seem at all interested in) Lacks heart, knows the material

I can't say that this teacher doesn't know her stuff but she does pick her favorites from the start and sticks with them all through your 4 years of tesl,so if your disliked you're screwed from the beginning. On top of it all she fails to be fair with you if you're not an A student!

Today's students are lame-ass whiners. Do your ****ing homework! Anne was lively, warm, playful. We learned a huge amount of valuable stuff, and she made it as easy as could be expected, given that many students pass out at the mention of grammar.

I am surprised that this teacher isn't recieving top ratings across the board. I find her very reassuring when we don't "get" explanations right away. Her classes are animated and give students a chance to interact.
