Comment:

Fieldwork (internship) class. 105 hours doing internship which I did at Taconic Resources in Poughkeepsie which was excellent. Also 5 classes and 1 paper based on reading a book that dealt with internship. My focus was on American Sign Language. Anne is a great professor, very approachable. Do the work and get an A.

Sr seminar class. Weekly outlines for readings, 1 individual project and 1 group project. Laid back class, put in effort. No tests. She is very understanding, easily approachable. Highly recommend this class with Anne.

great professor. took writing intensive course race, class, gender once a week. Grading straight forward, read three books and write six page essay for each. Get questions before reading to make it easier. Professor approachable can meet before each paper due to review. Interesting class and books. Highly recommend.

Anne is easily one of my favorite professors at New Paltz. I purposely signed up for her classes for 3 semesters in a row because she made them so interesting and her teaching style actually helps you learn. Overall, I took 4 of her classes and received an A in all of them. Just make sure you keep up with the readings and you'll be fine!

I really like Anne as a person. She is really level-headed and down to earth. I agree with all of her ideas but I did think she was a hard grader. However, she is very approachable and helps in any way she can.

I took this online. I thought she was great. Very easy grader, simple papers. Easily skim through the books when writing papers, no reading necessary. I still learned a bit even with out doing any work. Requires online discussion board, posting twice a week. Not too much work at all!

Watching her proclaim her heterosexuality over and over again was pretty funny - "Just because I'm a feminist doesn't mean I'm a lesbian. I AM STRAIGHT! I LIKE MEN!" Multiply that by fifteen weeks, and you have her class . . . hysterical

took an online class with her. she was very nice in emails, and led interesting discussions with her questions. 3 papers were 5-7 pages, and were also interesting. Very fair grader, just read the material and include statistics and you get an A.
