One of the most under rated chem eng professor in the school. He has a very clear logic and solid structure. You will learn a lot from him!! And he responds email very often and willing to help during office hour. I really like him!!

Professor Dixon is an excellent professor. He covers all the material in great and thorough detail, assigns homework to match the test material, and is clear about everything. The expectations of his classes are high, and he is a challenging professor, but I learned more than most other courses.

This guy gets a bad rap for not liking sophomores, but I didn't get that impression. His tests were tough, but no worse than Professor Clark's. I thought he was a nice guy and a fairly reasonably professor.

You might not necessarily enjoy (hard) work while taking the class but you'll be greatful for it later when you need to use the info in other classes. Will be helpful out of class but you need to explain what you don't get and be specific, fishing for answers won't get you anywhere. One of the best CM profs.

He is not going to hold your hand if that is the kind of professor you want then take another class. He is good at what he does and he knows his stuff. If you go to class and put in the effort he is there for you. He teaches you how the real engineering world is, no one is going to tell you how to do everything step by step!

Not very helpful outside of class--especially for projects. His tests are ridiculously long...don't expect him to baby you along. You are now a "grown up chemical engineer" Deal with it...have fun!
