Sweet , funny old man with a few loose screws. Loves talking about polar bears and sharks. 3 tests, no homework, no papers. Only complaint is that you have to buy a really expensive text book that is used on some tests and not on others. Some tests contains everything from the book, some contain nothing. Well, at least he made me laugh a few times!

Need a science core out of the way? Look no further than Gramza. Don't bother buying the text, you won't need it. Very nice guy and makes the material bearable even if you couldn't care less about the subject, like me. MC tests are pie, and no homework.

Life and inquiry was okay. He's a sweet old man, but his tests are so random. YOu take notes the whole time in class, and then half the stuff is out of the really expensive book (and he specifically says that the book isn't important...well, obviously it was!) Okay class at best, sweet funny man, boring frustrating class.

Really boring class but a nice guy. I would recommend taking someone else if you can. I took his 9:20 class and barely stayed awake (and I'm a morning person). Unless you want to fall asleep to science you learned in 7th grade, dont take this class.

great class; all lecture; at end of semester listen to presentations; midterm essay, 1 final; 1 term paper with presentation; pretty easy grader as long as you put in the effort; **take good notes**; don't buy book, and don't take if you have no interest in the environment. but if you do, this is the class for you; you will learn so much

I loved this class! Dr. Gramza is so into his subject, yes, he is old and cooky, but that what makes the class great. He cares so much about the environment. I would reccomend him to anyone, TAKE HIM!!!!

Gramza is sort of kooky, but he's a really nice guy who enjoys what he does. His test questions can be somewhat odd, but he gives a huge curve (30 out of 38 is an A+!), so it's all good. Likes to talk about polar bears, the Mamas and the Papas, and all things of the garden variety.

Dr. Gramza is a very very nice man but his class is very boring. Has a somewhat strict attendance policy. However, as long as you go to the lectures and take notes, you'll be fine on his tests since the questions come from his lectures. 3 Tests, 1 Final. All Multiple Choice.
