While she looks like some crazy bag lady, don't let apperances fool you. Dr. Pollard is sharp and witty and has very high expectations of her students. Expect quizes and essays from her weekly and make sure to keep up on your reading or you'll sink quickly in her class. She picks interesting stories thought - not what you'd read in High School.

I miss Prof. Pollard. she is disorganized and spuratic, but a great professor. She likes papers with good grammar and different opinions. you don't have to be afraid to write exactly what you think and grades being docked. This is open-mindedness in its true form.
