D. Harmon is a cool guy to be honest, but his test are extremely hard. u gotta prepare yourself a longtime. But his grading scale is different which really helps out ur grade. he doesnt grade lab report too tough, if u follow his format. Lab grade definately increases ur overall grade. take him, cuz hes the only choice.lol. peace!

I hated his class. He jumped around so much that I could not understand. His tests are multiple choice (all or nothing) and problems. He does not give homework out and grade it. So the first time you are corrected is on a quiz that counts. Take Davis. He gives homework, and shows you a similar test beforehand. He also takes time to help.

I had him for lab and if you did not put exactly what he wanted and all that he wanted you would get many points deduced. He says that he welcomes questions, but when you ask him a question he makes you feel so dumb. I would not take him if you can help it.

Dr. Harmon is such a great person. He'll help you and won't make you feel stupid if you go to him with questions. This class is hard, but if you ask him for help, you'll do well because he'll tell you what he pretty much wants on his tests...think *syntax* for anyone thinking about taking his class......

Had Dr. Harmon for 122 and he was much more helpful. Now in 320, his "read out of the book" lectures are virtually useless. BUT, he is very interested in helping you understand - so long as you figure out what questions to ask!
