This is my second complete semester with Tom. He teaches and is so willing to help if it doesn't make sense. He tells a lot of stories to waste time between assignments which is a nice pick me up. I'm changing my semester so I am looking forward to a third semester of math Tom next semester!

He is a great professor. I am really bad at math and struggled a lot. He saw that I went to tutoring every week, asked questions and even met with him on occasion which made my grade better than it should of been. He keeps that class interesting and is always making sure that we understand the material. He gives quizzes directly from the homework.

Best prof for stats. Classes are laid back and weekly assignments are short and to the point. There's no busy work. He tells you what to know for a quiz (which make up the largest portion of your grade) and is more than willing to help you if you don't understand. He explains things clearly and keeps classes interesting by telling a story or two.

He's an awesome guy, very nice and fun but he should not be a professor. His lectures are very unclear, he gets off topic easily and is all over his place with his teaching. He tells pointless made up stories that have nothing to do with the class ALL THE TIME, it gets old. If you want to pass Stats, don't take it with him.

He tells a few stories a class to keep the class interested and doesn't spend too long lecturing. If you have to take intro to stats, this is the guy for you. The quizzes are easy and he tells you exactly what will be on them. The only test is the final.

I struggled in Math 171, so I was nervous for Math 172. O'Brien is a great professor who goes out of his way to help students. He will go over the material until everyone understands. I can honestly say I enjoyed going to math everyday...strange I know.

I made up the course number. I have him for pre-calc. He's a really fun teacher who loves to joke with his students. The only problem I have with him is that he'll go off on (very funny) tangents in the middle of a lesson then I wouldn't be able to get back into the lesson after he went back to teaching. But if you're not ADD like me, he's great!

Prof. O'Brien is one of the best math teachers on campus! If you ever get the chance to take a class with him, DO IT! His teaching style is very clear and he makes sure not to leave students in the dust. Very helpful, easy grader. Make sure you write a brief summary for all your problems!
