Ive had Tony for 3 years now as a prof and although his upper year classes are great, his lower year big lectures are quite difficult to keep up with. He generally is very textbook and paper heavy, but in his lower year classes I find he bounces around and flies through far too quickly and doesnt filter out whats unimportant. Tests are long

Honestly loved Pop Culture. The beginning was textbook heavy with quizzes but then there are three essays and a final exam... I had no complaints though, as long as you manage your time everything is completable. Plus you go to class and talk about games with a high probability of playing games... What's not to love?

His lectures to larger classes are uninspiring at best. He's lazy and unorganized, and you have to get after him for proper feedback. I emailed him three times for an appointment concerning my final exam and never got a response--I eventually just cornered him. Doesn't look over TA marking, barely marks anything himself. Tests're boring +by rote.

Tony is a great professor in terms of interesting lectures but his organizational skills are not there at all. He did not plan the presentation day well and caused a lot of panic over it. Also two essays and test questions in an hour and a half? Not enough time!

I took 4 years of class with Tony and have no complaints. He's fair, funny, and straightforward about what you need to get a good grade. Be prepared to work hard and read a billion pages of boring plays a night, but you certainly can't blame him if you don't get a good grade.

I have taken 3 years worth of Tony's classes. I liked them all. BUT, one year I got an A + and another a B-. THe key to getting a good mark in his class is keeping up with your play readings. He quizes you on them every class.

Tony's the best. I love his classes. He's such a smart guy, and he is so helpful when you need it. He's in his office a lot, and even if it's not his office hours, he'll take time out to help you. His lectures are a lot of fun, and they speed by. Totally take his classes!

Good guy, interesting and nice. He just needs to make his lectures flow a bit more and emphasize the important points - and leave out the unimportant ones. Talked about some things that we weren't even tested on which seemed like a waste of time.

Tony is a great guy and helpful if you ask. He just needs to learn to make his lectures flow a bit more, rather then jumping all over the place.
