Anthony is the best teacher I've had at Pratt. He's hard on you because that is what you need (believe it or not). This class should be mandatory to weed out those who are willing to work hard for what they want. His knowledge of the industry is invaluable and he shares it willingly. He is honest about your work and gives clear feedback. Love him!

WORST teacher I've ever taken at pratt. I took this class as an elective because i enjoyed my type classes for last year, what i mistake i made. Never shows up on time, didn't make the effort to learn any of the student's names. CLOSE MINDED AND HAS NO CLUE WHAT'S GOING ON IN THE DESIGN WORLD TODAY.But most disappointing is that he's discouraging.

Knows what he's doing. Prepares you for the real world. I happened to be in a class of idiots so all the projects took longer than they should have. There was 6 projects, all very different and fun. I enjoyed the class.

I took Anthony Williams' class 10 years ago now, he is the reason I am an Art Director today. I just read through all of these comments and I have to laugh. No he is not for the faint of heart. Yes you will work your ass off, no he won't cut you any slack. He will prepare you for the real world,it's cut throat and strengthen you as a designer.

I was TERRIFIED of him my junior year for Type 3. He hated me, I hated him, and he hated every assigment I did. He also amde it very clear what he liked and what he didn't like. I took him for 3 semesters after that and by my last, I was finally the awesome designer I wanted to be BECAUSE OF HIM. His class is ONLY for the STRONG & COMMITTED

Willaims is a really good teacher. He is not arrogant, merely demanding. He requires students to work here asses off, and if you don't he WILL NOT REWARD YOU. laziness does not pay off in his class, and a lot of people seem to resent him for demanding that they actually do their homework on time. He gives good projects and good feedback.

I graduated Pratt with a 3.8-I'm hardworking/ambitious.The most valuable lesson I got from him was how to deal with an ARROGANT man.I liked that he expected a lot of work, but that doesn't make him a good teacher. He cannot instuct or give criticism.He barely looks at or cares to understand your skeches/progress & is NEVER on time. Suck ups do well

Anthony's "favorites" are the students who show up on time, try and do their work. If you are a slaker, you dont deserve his time. He is not easy, and he won't give you the answer, because design is about figuring things out, exploring the problem and finding the solution. Function defines form. Pratt needs more Anthony's.

I took William's class 7 years ago. I remember he made it clear if you didnt have the money to produce your work, then you wouldnt make it far in his class. I personally think that he has lost his love for design and just does it to pay the bills. Its funny that looking at his work now, its a bit outdated, boring, uneducated.

im not one for bashing teachers or students but his case is an exception i worked my ass off for this guy and never was late or missed class and he gave me a D. He told me the best grade in a class was a C. The only thing i learned in his class was how to hate him. DONT TAKE HIM!
