There is no reason for her to be at the university level. This class was a joke. She spent 45 minutes talking about beans one class. She is too old to relate to the students or the material, and refuses to stop using a text from 1991, which references typewriters and transcription machinces. Oh yes, typewriters. Total waste of my time.

She is not all that bad of a teacher. the thing that bugged me the most is that she makes you read and read aloud in class..and if you mess up on a word..she will stop you and correct you. i guess this is why international students have a hard time in this class. But if you do the work-her way exactly.you will be fine. Dont Forget your Crayons!!

Dr. Reese is definitely old school but she is also willing to help you if you take the time to go to her office. Make sure you do assigments EXACTLY as she says and yes she will give examples. (Again the office thing). I am not an "artsy" person but still got an A on my notebook. Be prepared to write,write,and write!!!!

She is a bit too much on spelling and grammer, but at least she gives the chance to correct it. You may feel like a first grader coloring in your book again, lol, but over all she is fairly easy. She also makes you read aloud in class, if you pronounce a word wrong, she will stop you and correct you and make you say it again. Can be embarrassing.

Marshall needs to FIRE this old woman. She focuses more on spelling/grammar than the true objectives of the class. Possible resentment toward international and minority students--afraid that those of not white descent may take over the world. ISSUES!
