She is an amazing teacher! She does give homework once a week, but it is not due until the following week. Her examples in class are like what she does on exams. Exams are a little bit harder than homework, but what can you expect. Very helpful! She puts her students above everyone else. She has a sense of humor as well! I would 100% recommend her!

Math history: best course ever in all math department at PSU! She is the only professor betw/ all PSU campuses teaching this course, so if you happen to see it offered, take it immediately! Learned a great variety of topics, all very interesting, and the final project's topic is your choice. She is also a very funny and caring professor, I love her

this course is tough but it can't be made any easier without you studying for it. Professor's tests are little bit tough, but it wouldnt be a problem if you attend her classes and just practice the problems she gives

Awesome Professor, really helpful, not so hard exams, replies within an hour via email, lots of homework but you dont have to submit it(only for practice, but most of those questions appear frequently on tests)

Very nice lady, went to her office hours and did great on tests. Ready the book and dothe homework and you'll pass the quiz's and tests. Very calm and respective about the materials and large amount of knowledge about the material. Write everything down and you should be set. Definitely taking her class agian.

She does the best a teacher can do at teaching Calculus at the required pace. She's very helpful and willing to help. She always emphasizes doing homework even though most of it is not due. She gave quizzes every week, but they made it easier to learn the material. She's unintentionally funny as well and clearly loves her job and/or math.

Comment:

Her accent isnt as bad as people say it is. still easily understood. Very good calc teacher, makes the subject easier. Do the homework and youll pass. She will assign a truck load of it, as long as you know how to do it it you'll be fine, never collects it. She makes a lot of jokes and is pleasing to be around.

I've taken calc 1 before in high school, so coming into the class it was pretty easy. But the main topics that I hadn't quite understood in high school, she helped find a way to explain them to me and I finally understand them. Be prepared, she will teach you how to do related rates, and will not stop until you know how to do them!

Dr. Cupillari is very good professor. Kind of jumps around a bit but still gets to the point. She has a fairly thick Italian accent but not so bad that you cantfollw. I would recomend taking her class.

not a good professor in my opinion. Very hard to understand, she has a terrible accent. she Lectures for way to long and doesnt just get to the point. Most of the stuff she explained just made things more confusing. Her tests were half definitions.
