she is one of the best prof.There are 3 group papers, one individual paper, few assignments, and 3 tests( final is not cumulative) April cares about her students and welcomes any suggestions to make the class easier. you must understand the materials to write the papers and do well in the tests.I definitely recommend to take this class with her.

Best choice I have ever made was to take this class with her. Love the professor and class! I don't want to finish it :( There is quite a bit of papers due but the topics are interesting and chosen by the student. I would recommend taking this class with her to anyone.

By far my favorite professor and class on campus yet. She is extremely nice, helpful, and has a natural talent of connecting to students. This class is not only about writing and speech, but how you are doing in college. The homework may not always be easy, but you learn a lot. If you try, you will get a good grade. I recommend taking it with her.

April is seriously one of the nicest people I know. She really makes an effort to get to know her students and would go out of her way to give any help you need. Her classes are not easy, but if you put the work into it you will be fine, and you will also learn a ton.

An above-average class that will reap benefits if you put some work into it. In response to an earlier post, please don't drop. The reading is extra and though the assignments may seem overwhelming, Dr. April is a just grader. Great lady, always willing to discuss class topics or anything else.
