This class is really interesting. The professor takes students on trips and reviews several drafts of the paper. She is very helpful outside of class and goes out of her way for her students. I highly recommend this course.

Dr. K-W takes an interest in her students. If you show up unannounced or outside of office hours, she may not be there because she does a lot of jobs on campus. But if you go to her office hours or email her for an appointment, she is always willing to help and is very approachable. She takes he FYS seriously though so don't blow it off.

AKW is an enthusiastic prof and I liked that. She allows students to use older versions of textbooks and this can lead to confusions about reading. She knows her subject well but is tough to get a hold of outside of class because she has young children. She does also tend to push her agenda a little bit when sidetracked. Best with a small class.

AKW, as she likes to call herself, was practically impossible to get in contact with outside of class, and she didn't really show much interest in her student's success. Hopefully you like writing essays because that is all her tests are composed of. I didn't do most of the work and walked away with a B+

Dr. Kelly-Woessner is amazing! Her entire class is a lecture and a majority of your grade is based on large exams. Go to class and take really detailed notes and you'll be fine. Extremely helpful when needed also.

AKW is another great professor in the PS department. She's a polling expert- political psychology is her specialty. Her class is enjoyable, probably because her political view is nearly impossible to figure out. She's extremely helpful. As my advisor, I can go to her for anything, and I've seen her strongly advocate for her students.

Good class, makes you go to a conference but you learn a lot. Don't bother reading the book, she explains it much better and makes it easier to understand. A lot of the material is repeat if you took prob & stat.

AKW is awesome. I absolutely loved her class. It is super easy, you show up take notes and leave. 3 test-easy if you study, and 2 papers, also easy. She usually let us out early and was always going off on tangents about her life and telling stories. It was great, never a dull moment.Take her class.
