Comment:
He's incredibly lazy. Lectures from powerpoints. All tests are online and questions are usually unclear or use completely different language from the book. Has boiled the class down so he can do minimum work. No homework or practiced application of material. Final is 40% of the grade. Project is 20% and has no rubric so requirements were vague.

He is a really helpful professor. There are quizzes almost every class, but you can take the quiz until you succeed. If you don't get a 100%, he will help you figure out why. Then you are able to correct your mistake and change your grade. I have learned a lot from him.

Too high of expectations. Nine test and project in seven weeks. T4st questions are hard and do not always relate to reading material. Project requires use of old program that runs code and he is not helpful in figuring out how to run program. Outdated materials and not helpful professor- i wouldnot recommend taking a class with him.

He's been teaching a 10 year old book. Two economic downturns have come and gone, but his material has stayed the same. Going to class is useless because he touches every single topic in the book only on the surface. book is more helpful than him. The class could very well be offered online

Very different from FIN622, he is readily available to explain the material, however, he makes you do it yourself first. I enjoyed the atmosphere in class, although we had quizzes, final and project plus we had to cover 5 chapters a week it was fine as the book was not hard at all. Pay attention to details on quizzes. Recommend!!

very intelligent, but bad instructor. Don't be fooled by the comments on his teaching tactic in the past semesters, he changes it quite often. If you have engineering degree, it will be easier to tackle through the numbers. He is big on risk, many questions on that. If u find smth. way unfair speak up, but it is not going to help or harm you either

Arlynn Rubash is the worst teacher I've ever had. He quizzes you on a chapter prior to teaching it. He asks you random questions in class that have nothing to do with the text. He also is unyielding on a person's busy schedule. He seldom finishes class on time. Our class lasted from 5:30-8:45pm and he typically went to 9:15pm.

I took this online with him and it was very rigorous during an interim. One exam and one chapter Mon-Sat. for 3 weeks straight. Not really that helpful with questions, but it is an online class. I'm not really looking forward to the follow up FIN-622 course.

Rubash is a good professor. He provides a lot of resources with posted ppt slides from class and homework. He gives weekly on-line exams and repeats questions that most people missed on the prior exam. You need to read alot and do the homework problems. Gives variable extra credit and final is open book and notes. I'd recommend him.

He was flat out mean to his students. It's kind of hard to be mean over the internet on-line class but he was able to do it. Not very helpful. He forced us to use this "Excel-like" program: Quantrix. He suggested that we buy a license for $600. We found out that he and his wife had a financial stake in it. Why am I doing your market research?

This was an online class. It was kind of boring, but not that difficult. I had a tech problem during the final, but he was helpful. The final is comprised of questions from the quizzes, however not everyone has the same quiz so Q's are different. I made a study guide of all my quizzes which helped a lot, yeah it took a while, but it was worth it.

don't bother going to class...he covers nothing that he asks on the weekly 60 point quizes! Always late to class and the final. Doesn't know how to teach only knows the subject. Final is impossible 80 questions in 2 hours....pick another teacher if you can

He is the worst teacher besides his wife to ever teach at Bradley. He reads word for word from the slides from the books website and refuses to answer questions. He frequently comes up with the wrong answers for problems assigned to students. How are the students supposed to get the right answers if

He tries really hard but the weekly quizzes are strictly out of the book. After a few weeks no one shows up to class b/c you're better off spending an hour & a half reading the chapter. Going to class only helps if you don't understand the HW problems.

I studied a lot for the course and still got a B. The classes are very painful. He just reads powerpoint slides he effortlessly downloaded from the book website. Rarely the slides have a correlation with the material appearing on the tests. Beware!
