Dr. Ledet is most likely one of the more difficult math instructors at Texas Tech. Honestly, the Linear Algebra class he teaches for undergrads is beneath him. He is VERY intelligent, therefore struggles with explaining the topics in the most simple ways. I'm an A student, who excels in math. However, he made me work for a good mark. Use the book!!

This is by far the hardest professor I have ever taken. Our averages were in the 30's. Although he did add a steep curve, clearly nobody in the class learned anything. Ledet is clearly a genius and should only be teaching graduate level courses. Do NOT, under ANY circumstance, take him for undergrad.

Seems like a good person, but just a bad professor. I could not do a single problem correctly. Ever. All semester. I went to the tutoring center, and no one could help me. Our tests had massive curves to ensure that some people would actually pass. I would avoid at all costs, unless you like making 12% on tests and having to google every homework.

Funny and smart professor. He hardly writes anything on the board during lectures. You will have to teach yourself on the topics. The test reviews are not similar to the tests but he does give a big curve for the course that will save you. Homework is assigned once a week.

Perfect Course !! His explanation contains a lot of precious mathematical experiences he has had. For that reason I have learned a lot enjoying this course. Don't be disappointed because of the result of the homework or exam. He will give big curve on them. If you don't give up, then you will get strong and firm knowledge as well as good grade.

I thought I could handle this class. I'd read his other reviews on here, but I took him anyways.... DO NOT BE LIKE ME. Don't take any class with him. He can not teach, he is a terrible grader, his homework and test questions are not simple- and are nothing like the book or other classes examples. Don't do it. (I had to drop).

Heavy Danish accent. He expects his students to have a prior background in Linear Algebra. No WebWork, the 10 HW handouts are of graduate level & normally 2 to 3 part short answer, so I had to obtain a WolframAlpha subscription in order to have any clue if I was doing it correctly. Exams are very tough, but majorly curved so that may save you.

This professor made this class hard for no reason. Yes he gives reviews on exams but you will only see one question from the review on the exam. His lectures mostly makes no sense. When you go to the tutoring center for hmwk help, most of them cannot help, because most professor do not go that in-dept into linear. If you can don't take him!!

He goes through problems very quick and has terrible handwriting. At times it seems that he is too smart to be teaching the class because many of the things he says go over the classes head. The homework usually has 2 problems; however, they aren't very clear in what is being asked and are usually quite complex.

He's a really easy grader. He gives you reviews for the test and if you actually do them you'll pass no problem. He's a really smart guy with a dry sense of humor and a heavy Danish accent (but still he's understandable). He says z "zet" and I think it's funny. I'm a math major currently taking 2 other math courses and he is by far my favorite prof

This teacher is very hard. He does not genuinely care about his students and most likely barely anyone will pass the course. I will never take another class with him as my teacher! Get ready to do homework for hours and study your butt off just to fail.

By far the hardest teacher I have ever taken. The class averages for our two midterms were both under 20100. Sloppy handwriting and accent makes him hard to understand at times. HWs and tests are graduate level questions. Definitely would not recommend to anyone for higher level math classes.

The hardest class I've ever taken in my life. The material is difficult, but having Ledet as a professor made it harder. He does have a very dry sense of humor, but his accent is very thick, his handwriting is messy, and his lectures are very confusing. The home work is GRADUATE level, and really doesn't prepare you for the exams (nothing does)

Homeworks are incredibly difficult. So much so, that no tutor on campus will be able to help you. Ledet's office hours are terrible (2 days a week for about 1-2 hours per day) and he doesn't have a TA or discussion in his class. STAY AWAY FROM HIS 3360 Foundations class. Most students leave his class in utter confusion.

dry sense of humor, really nice and funny. thick accent, sometimes hard to understand. really smart, but sometimes he can't explain it in ways students will understand. helpful if you have a question. tests are ridiculously hard, so you need to study a lot. attendance not mandatory but you need to go if you want to pass.

Interisting professor. His sense of humor is sort of weird,I find it to be hilarious so I get a good laugh. He welcomes questions and comments in class.Very lenient on grades, gives partial credit. I don't like how he teaches too well, I find it to be disorganized and gets me lost from the beginning but most people seem to find it ok.
