This class material, Berman or not, requires determination and diligence. So don't skate by and do the bare minimum and expect an A. You need to work in order to grasp material. And if you have any questions, call him out in class and he'd be delighted to go over the material. However don't disrespect him in class. I'd take Him 100x again

Really nice guy, actually cares about his students. Also offers help when you need him, only problem is that his help isn't actually helpful. Found myself more confused after meeting up. Brought my homework to the tutoring center and they said they don't even know what the homework is or where to start. Very tough grader. Take class with caution.

Good guy, but not the best professor. He really cares about his students and want's them to pass but expects you to teach yourself for the most part. He goes over the topics in class and vaguely covers a few examples per topic. ALLOWS CHEAT SHEETS for midterm + final. MAKE SURE YOU PAY ATTENTION AND TAKE NOTES; if not you WILL have a hard time.

He's a good guy, when he teaches you he has the class guess the answers at times which is annoying. He also doesn't show the format of how question will be asked exactly so you might get confused when it comes to tests. Do hw and fill out good cheat sheet which can be used on midterm and final, o and study for incentives worth the extra points

Horrible teaching methods... He sits in the front and reviews problems from the textbook only he won't write the solutions on the board. He does the math in his head and explains it verbally. His exams, although he explains what they entail, are extremely difficult and are not in sync with the difficulty level of the class. Strict Grader. Avoid.

He really helps you out. Always willing to stay and give you extra help. If you do badly on the test he has incentive quizzes to get your grade back up, but those quizzes don't hurt you. Attendance is not mandatory, but if you miss classes it really screws you over and its your own fault not his.

he is a very nice man and a very understanding man and does not want his students to fail, on th contrary he does what he can to help the students pass. his test are hard but he reviews them and they include everything you did in class. his homework is not hard. all he expects is his students to show up to class and try and he will help you

Don't believe the low ratings- this guy makes Accounting as easy as possible. There is a small amount of problems to do for homework - and you review the problems in class. Nothing to turn in ever - just 3 tests. If you don't do the homework - or follow along in class, then you can fall behind... but is that the professor's fault?

My feeling is this- a teacher has a right to be tough so long as he/she is a good teacher. this teacher is tough and not a good teacher. his lectures are boring, he goes over things very quick on the board, and his tests are tricky with no leniency.
