Comment:

More like a "life lessons" teacher, but he always goes over the required material in-depth. Really outgoing and always looking to give you as much credit as possible. Easy tests, but final is cumulative so make sure you keep up with the workload. Would definitely recommend taking his class, makes Spanish interesting and easy.

Very nice guy, gets a little off topic A LOT but honestly I've never done well in Spanish and I actually get what he's saying. He speaks in English, so it helps. I learned more from this class than I have any other classes I've taken. I would recommend him for sure. You'll get used to his sense of humor.

While Doc Levine is a good guy and is definitely funny, his tests are very challenging compared to other Spanish teachers at CState. AND worst of all his final exam is cumulative AND counts for 50% of your final grade. You can try your best all semester but if you have a hard time with the final, you're going to be in hot water. :(

Doc takes teaching spanish and turns it into some valuable life lessons. He always lightens up the class with his jokes and the homework is voluntary. The tests are ok but he gives you everything you need to do well on them. Doc is the best teacher at SUNY Cortland bar none..

This class is mandatory and I learned material that I did not know back when I was in high school. 3 Exams= 50%. Final Exam=50%. 3 bonus points for perfect attendance. 3 bonus points for bonus question which will be revealed at the beginning of each semester. He teaches you how to teach ourself. I would recommend him.

Doc is the best spanish teacher i've ever had. I've always been bad at spanish and I got an A+. He gives outlines for the tests and their the exact same thing. He wants everyone to pass and do well. His class is hilarious and entertaining and goes by really fast. Definitaly take him!

Dr. Levine is an awesome professor. He is always willing to help students learn. His review sheets are extremely helpful and look just like the exam. He rewards students for good attendance and has a great sense of humor. I'd love to take another class with Doc!

Doc's a real piece of work. He's a very understanding Professor, but he will hold you up to the standard for the course. Gives extra cred for good attendance. He teaches things as he understands and reviews work. He's always willing to help, but you MUST ask questions! Meaning sometimes things are unclear, and trust me, he is no mind reader. Tough.

I have to say, that this was one of the most unique and entertaining classes I have ever been a part of. There is never a dull moment w/ Doc Levine. The guy is hilarious! Excellent person, but incredibly difficult to pass with a good grade. You do learn a lot, but his tests are massive, and he grades very hard. Many students have a hard time receiving excellent grades from him. BUT, like I said: he is a good guy, and class will always have you laughing. Fun, yet difficult.

He was a great guy. He had very intriging views on life and what we would should strive for. Although, his test were unclear. The listening exercises might as well have been in Arabic and he grades hard. After he gave me the shaft when it was all said and done..he stated to me in an email "Grades are not the Alphas and Omegas of life" Unfortunatly
